On November 16th, 2016, National Academy of Public Administration organized an opening ceremony of the overseas training program Batch 13th for Bangladesh high ranking officials which is held from November 15th, 2016 to November 24th, 2016.
Presented at the ceremony were Dr. Le Nhu Thanh – Permanent Vice President, Mr. Mohammad Shahab Ullab – The Ambassador of Bangladesh Embassy to Vietnam, 33 Bangladesh participants, NAPA staff and faculties.
Giving a speech at the opening ceremony, Dr. Le Nhu Thanh expressed NAPA’s readiness for meeting participants’s expectation by inviting experienced lecturers with high expertise in public management. He also encouraged participants to raise questions and discuss with the lecturers for effective training.

The Ambassador Mohammad Shahab Ullab stated that sending high ranking officials to NAPA for overseas training was the right decision of Bangladesh government because Vietnam is one of the fastest growth country in the world with many achievements in economic and society development, eradication of poverty and hunger, living standard improvement, and improving the position of Vietnam in the world. Along with economic development, Vietnam also successfully develops its culture and maintain a good harmony among ethnic groups. He emphasized that Bangladesh participants should established contacts with Vietnamese partners and spend time exploring Vietnam as well.

On behalf of Bangladesh participants, Mr. Abdul Baky – Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre confirmed that the oversea training program is the result of cooperation between NAPA, Bangladesh Ministry of Public Administration and Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre. He believed that the overseas training program would give participants the opportunities to learn about the knowledge and experience , in economic and society development and management, public administration reforms in Vietnam. These knowledge and experience will be beneficial for participants to improve their performance in the home country.
