On October 25th 2016, National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) organized the opening ceremony of the state management training program for Lao high ranking officials. The training program will be held from October 24th 2016 to December 22nd 2016. It was the 19th training program for Lao public servants and the 8th international training program delivered by NAPA.
The openin ceremony was in the presence of Mr. Pheng Phăn Luong Ma Ni – Minister Counselor of Laos Embassy to Vietnam along with representatives from government ministries and agencies, NAPA staff and faculty members. Giving a speech at the ceremony, Dr. Le Nhu Thanh welcomed the delegation and emphasized that both Vietnam and Lao are currently under the administration reform process which covers many areas of society. It gave rise to the need of leaders with innovative thinking, soundskills and knowledge in order to provide effective solutions for every issue. He also believed that with efforts, Lao participantswill definitely gain systematic knowedge and skills in management which would help them develop in their career and contribute to the administration reform process in Laos and tighten the relationship between Vietnam and Laos.

Mr. Pheng Phan Luong Ma Ni emphasized that the cooperation in training, especially training programs provided by NAPA is a symbol of the special relationship between the Parties and peoples of the two countries.

During the opening ceremony, Mr Kham Phon Keo Pa Serd on behalf of the trainees thanked NAPA for the warm reception from NAPA staff and faculites and showed determination to study hard to successfully complete the training program at NAPA.
